Creamy and smooth, this chocolate martini has all the chocolaty goodness and flavor but is dairy-free!

A while ago I was experimenting with making a vegan (dairy-free) chocolate liqueur so that I could experiment with some other yummy chocolate adult beverages. Because….chocolate!
This chocolate martini is a delicious outcome of those experiments!

Ingredients needed to make a delicious chocolate martini:
- Chocolate liqueur
- plant milk – I use oat milk
- vodka
- and of course you will need a martini glass and a shaker with ice

How to make this dairy-free chocolate martini:
Recipe for the vegan chocolate liqueur:
You will need to start with buying or making chocolate liqueur. Many chocolate liqueurs have dairy as an ingredient so I made my own. Find the recipe for chocolate liqueur here!
It will just be easier if you print out the above recipe for the chocolate liqueur – here are the ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 13.5 ounce can of coconut milk – full fat
- 1 cup vodka.

Easy directions for the chocolate martini:

To a shaker filled a little over half-way with ice, add in one shot each of the oat milk, vodka, and the chocolate liqueur. Shake with two hands for a minute or so, open the lid and strain into your martini glass. Dessert is served!

Equipment
- cocktail shaker
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces chocolate liqueur see notes
- 1.5 ounces oat milk or other palnt milk
- 1.5 ounces vodka
- ice
Instructions
- To a shaker half-way filled with ice, add the chocolate liqueur, oat milk, and vodka.
- Shake for at one minute, open lid and strain into a martini glass.
