Veggie Fun Kitchen Editorial and Content Policies

Our Mission Statement:

Our commitment to you is to provide thoroughly tried and tested vegan recipes that you will feel proud to put on your table. And how can we be so sure? Because these are the same recipes that we put on our table too!

At Veggie Fun Kitchen we believe:

  • In a stress-free kitchen – because vegan recipes shouldn’t be complicated or require too many specialized ingredients.
  • That it’s okay to take shortcuts when it doesn’t compromise the quality of the food.
  • In the art of transforming beloved family favorites into plant-based recipes, ensuring that no one misses out on the dishes we remember and crave.
  • In the power of plants to create sumptuous delicious meals that stand toe-to-toe with their non-vegan counterparts.
  • That above all else, food is a language of love. It’s about the flavors that make us smile, the aromas that take us back home, and the satisfaction of a meal shared.

How we develop our recipes:

Our recipe development process begins with a spark of inspiration – an idea, a cherished memory of a favorite meal, or the excitement of a new culinary discovery that we simply must try to recreate.

Our kitchen becomes a laboratory of taste where we experiment, refine, and perfect each creation, ensuring that every dish not only captures the original flavors and textures but is also made the plant-based way.

Rigorous Testing and How We Do It:

It’s important to us that the food you put on your table is just as fabulous as the food we serve on ours. All of the recipes on Veggie Fun Kitchen are tried and tested.

  • If a recipe is already a vegan family favorite that we’ve successfully cooked for years, the written recipe is given to a friend or family member to try out in their kitchen so we know that what works for us will work for you too.
  • If this is a new recipe to us, we test and try until we get it right. We put our recipe creations out there to friends and family and ask for their opinions too. After we have what we consider a perfected recipe we test again (and sometimes again) to make sure it turns out as awesome as it did the first time. Only then are we willing to share it with you.

Commenting Policy:

We welcome and appreciate your comments and constructive suggestions and, in fact, take many of them into consideration when developing new recipes or perfecting old ones. Please find a comment and rating section at the bottom of each printable recipe card. You are also welcome to email Cindy directly at Cindy@veggiefunkitchen.com.

How We Earn Our Money

  • Money earned is by displaying ads through our advertising partner and through affiliate marketing. We do not have control over the particular ads displayed nor are we endorsing any particular product run through the advertising. Affiliate marketing is displayed at the top of each blog post. We occasionally suggest products we feel would be useful to you and may earn a small commission on the products at no additional cost to you if you choose to purchase said products through the affiliate links.
  • We are open to legitimate sponsored content for products or services we use that we deem would be welcome to our readers.
  • We do not accept paid links to websites that aren’t part of above mentioned sponsored content. We do not accept paid guest blog posts. Any requests for such will be deleted.
  • We may occasionally post syndicated content that we seek out and that is useful to our readers. We do not accept payment for these posts.

Our Vegan Commitment to You

All of the recipes on Veggie Fun Kitchen are free of animal products. We do use many commercial products in our recipes. At the time of writing a recipe, a specific product used is checked to ensure it is animal-free. Product formulas do change over time though and it is up to you, the vegan consumer, to read the ingredient label and check for yourself. The exceptions are commercial products that may contain cross-contamination and products containing sugar of unknown origin. Decide for yourself if a particular recipe meets your ethics.

We may, at times, syndicate content from other bloggers we feel would be useful to our readers. These might be “how to” articles, kitchen wisdom, or general articles about cooking. Very few of the syndicated authors write from a vegan perspective and the articles themselves may contain links to a non-vegan recipe. Consider if you want to click on a particular link.
