If boxed or canned products are used in the recipe, it is your responsibility to read the label to ensure it complies with your ethics/eating philosophy. We will do our best to make sure that all ingredients are compliant, but as manufacturers are prone to changing ingredients, it behooves you to check for yourself. Also, some ingredients might be considered non-compliant to some vegan eaters but not to others. Recipes/Expected Outcomes: We hope you enjoy the recipes Veggie Fun Kitchen has to offer as much as we do! Be aware that if you use different ingredients or measurements in your cooking than we do, the results will be different. Also be aware that when you use fresh fruits and vegetables, as many of the recipes do on Veggie Fun Kitchen, there are many variances with the taste, texture, and quality of the fresh food item which could be affected by factors such as growing conditions, region, farming practices, and even the day picked. Cooking Methods/Times: At Veggie Fun Kitchen, we try to make it a goal to cut down on time in the kitchen when possible. Therefore we might make use of purchased prepared items such as canned goods, seasonings, boxed items, frozen foods, and already prepared/cut fresh items. If you don’t care for those methods based on tastes, aesthetics, health notions, or any other personal preferences, please feel free to cook as you wish. If you choose to grow your own, cut your own, season your own, cook your own items – that’s great! Be aware that the times for cooking and prepping stated on the recipe cards will probably be different.
