1. If you didn't purchase your butternut squash already peeled and cubed, do so now. Cut into cubes no larger than one-inch cubes. You will need to add more time to the prep time listed above.
3. Whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, smoked paprika, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Coat cubed butternut squash evenly. If cold, butter may harden, but it will melt in the air fryer. Stir every five minutes for even coverage.
